THE GREATEST GIFT
This is a heartwarming story about how a man George got his motivation to live back. tthe story starts off with our protagonist staring into a black river, contemplating suicide. He finds that there is no meaning to his life, nothing for him to strive for or even be thankful for.
He is about to throw himself into the river when he is interrupted by a queer little fellow with sparkling blue eyes. After a short conversation, he ends up making a wish: that he never existed.
True enough, his wish is actually granted, what a lucky guy. He wanders from each familiar place in an effort to prove his greatest fears wrong and maybe wake up from this seemingly all
too-real nightmare. What I like most about this story is the part to follow; as he wanders around like a nomad, he realises what an impact he had made on other people's lives. Soon he begins to be thankful and even grateful for his life.
Well, to sum up the ending , they all lived happily ever after. But not without a small but interesting twist at the end of the story. Heh, what a sweet and sappy story. Something I am not so accustomed to. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
